It was founded in 1965 as a vocational technical school and during the
years it had the statute of a secondary vocational school and a technical
school. It has always had a prestigious place in the educational activities of
the young people in the region.
At present the tuition is carried out in the splendid architectural
complex of the school in three educational fields: technics, economic management and 
manufacturing of clothes. The
ambitious school staff has created very good conditions for general and
vocational training in the following specialties: Industrial Electronics;
Computer technics and technologies; Accountancy;
Business administration; Designing, modeling and technology of clothes. The
tuition is organized in accordance with the state educational requirements and
is conducted by skilled teachers. The modern school base helps the effective
educational process and the school lives is full of interesting students’
activities.
The vocational high school keeps in contact with the manufactures in the
region to provide the professional training and further realization for the
students.
The relations between the high school and the company PIRIN-TEX Ltd., which is a leading firm
in manufacturing of clothes, are of strategic importance. In 2001 the company
built the necessary equipment providing the further professional training of
the students. The tailoring, cutting out and mechanical sections are well
equipped and create conditions for conducting an effective educational process
in the following specialties: DESIGNING,
MODELING AND TECHNOLOGY OF CLOTHES; PRODUCTION
OF TEXTILE CLOTHES; FITTER OF
TAILORING INDUSTRY EQUIPMENT.
The company provides materials for practical classes. The practical training is
carried out in real conditions in the production workshops of the 
company.
At present over 300 students are trained in these specialties and their
further realization is certain to a great extent. For that reason the students
are responsible in their training and their extracurricular activities are a
good advertisement for the trade mark ROLLMANN.
A traditional fashion show is held during the school year, where the students
make the clothes and organize their presentation on their own.
The teachers and the students would like to take part in common general
education projects to acquaint themselves with experience in fashion and
clothing fields. They will be very glad to get into contact with organizations

The school has good means of communication and the students have
intensive foreign language training in German and English. They discuss texts
in the field of fashion, they get into contact with Germans and that gives them
possibility of communication and applying their knowledge into practice.
